This Privacy Notice applies to BILLI PRO, a subscription-based billing and invoicing workspace operated under the BILLI PRO / India Studios business operation. It covers account information, business profile information, customer and invoice records, service usage and communications handled through BILLI PRO.

2. Roles: your business data and BILLI PRO account data

When you enter your own account details, BILLI PRO uses them to provide, secure and administer your account. When you enter information about your customers into invoices and business records, your business generally determines why that customer information is collected and how it is used. You remain responsible for having a lawful basis and providing appropriate notices where required for the information you enter about other people.

3. Information we may process

• Account details such as name, email address and business name.
• Business profile and billing information you choose to maintain.
• Customer, invoice, payment, return, refund and due information entered into the workspace.
• Subscription, support and service communications.
• Technical information needed for security, troubleshooting and reliable operation.

4. Why information is used

We use information to create and secure accounts, provide billing features, maintain invoice and financial history, process subscription requests, support customers, prevent misuse, troubleshoot problems, maintain records and meet applicable legal or security obligations.

5. Data minimisation and accuracy

Only information reasonably needed for the stated service purpose should be entered. Customers should keep their account and business records accurate and should avoid placing unnecessary sensitive personal information into invoice descriptions, notes or customer fields.

6. Customer data entered by you

If you use BILLI PRO to store information about your own customers, you should collect and use that information lawfully, provide any notices required by applicable law and honour the rights that apply to those individuals. BILLI PRO provides the workspace; it does not replace your legal or compliance responsibilities as a business.

7. Security and confidentiality

BILLI PRO uses access controls, password hashing, session protections, CSRF protections, server-side validation, protected application/storage areas, security headers, rate limiting and structured operational logging. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so customers should use strong unique passwords and protect their own devices and credentials.

8. Service providers and payments

We may use hosting, email, payment, security, analytics or other service providers needed to operate the service. Where a specialised payment provider handles payment credentials, BILLI PRO aims to minimise direct exposure to sensitive payment information. Provider processing remains subject to the provider's own terms and applicable requirements.

9. International processing

Depending on the providers selected for hosting, email, security or payments, information may be processed in locations outside your state or country. Where applicable, we use appropriate contractual, technical or legal safeguards for such processing.

10. Retention

Information is retained for as long as reasonably necessary for the service, account administration, financial and business records, security, dispute handling, legal obligations and legitimate operational needs. Retention periods can differ by record type and legal requirement.

11. Your privacy choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights relating to access, correction, deletion, withdrawal of consent, grievance redressal or other controls over personal data. Requests should be sent to the privacy contact below. We may reasonably verify identity before acting on a request.

12. Children

BILLI PRO is intended for business use and is not designed as a service for children. Do not create an account for a child where applicable law does not permit it.

13. Cookies, sessions and similar technologies

BILLI PRO uses session and browser technologies needed for authentication, security and normal operation. We aim to avoid unnecessary tracking and will describe material changes to optional technologies when they are introduced.

14. Security incidents and legal disclosures

If a security incident affecting personal information is identified, BILLI PRO will assess, contain and remediate it and make notifications required by applicable law. Indian cyber-incident reporting obligations may apply to covered incidents.

15. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice when the service, data practices or legal requirements materially change. The effective date and policy version shown above identify the version currently presented on this page.
